This is my set of three project that includes a plate, and bowl, and a small cup. I used shadow green on all of them and some pink drizzles except the pink didn't show up so there is just little green glaze drips running down the sides. One new skill I used was glazing all projects to look like they all go together. The main art elements used were color. The design elements used were emphasis and rhythm and also unity/harmony. This is my second bowl for the quarter. I used green glaze. I did a different shaped bowl than I normally do..making it skinnier towards the bottom. I used the design elements of rhythm and balance since the glaze is all the same color. I used the art elements shape, color and form. This is my first plate. I used blue glaze. I learned the new skill of making a plate by watching the video demo online and then trying it myself. I've learned plates are sometimes difficult to make even. Art elements: color and shape. Design elements: balance and unity. This is my tall project. I learned how to improve my skills of pulling the wall so it is taller than it is wide, making it a tall project. I used metallic brown and green glaze. Some art elements I used were shape and form. Some design elements I used were contrast and balance. This is my groups "Frankenpot". Renee threw the bottom, I threw the middle and Natalie threw the top. We then put all of our pieces together. This was my first time making one of these. |
